~ Celebrating Friendship Day with Heartfelt Memories ~

Today was one of those rare, soul-satisfying days that fill you with gratitude and warmth. I woke up early, excited and joyful—because it was Friendship Day, and I had plans to meet someone very close to my heart—my childhood friend.

There was an extra layer of happiness in the air. My friend is now a mother to a six-month-old baby boy, and I was finally going to meet him!

Before heading out, I took a quiet moment to send heartfelt Friendship Day messages to all my dear ones—schoolmates, college friends, office colleagues, and cousins. Each message was a small reminder of the beautiful bonds that have shaped my journey. After finishing a bit of patchwork from Embroidery learning sessions, I got ready with my mother, and we made our way to my friend’s home.

When we arrived, baby Shivansh welcomed us with wide eyes and playful curiosity. He was so excited to see new faces and began interacting in his own adorable ways. Within moments, we were laughing, playing, and exchanging smiles. That tiny human being had already done friendship with me—with his innocence, warmth, and those irresistible giggles.

It felt like time had turned back. Me and my friend chatted about our life. After so long, we were truly present with each other again.

As the day unfolded, her sister-in-law joined us with her three little girls—each one full of life, love, and sweetness. She herself was a kind soul, soft-spoken and welcoming. The house was suddenly echoing with tiny footsteps, playful voices, and the joy of pure, simple connection.

After a delicious lunch, we tied Friendship Bands, exchanged hugs, and took carefree selfies—just like we used to. No filters, no poses—just memories captured with love.

Since it was the rainy season, we said our goodbyes a bit early. But as I left, I felt deeply content. The house we walked into was filled with love, laughter, and familiarity—and we walked out with hearts that felt fuller than ever.
